It's Milan in the sultry August of 1997 when Fab (vocals and guitar) gives birth to what would become the first nucleus of THE CROOKS. Their repertoire includes a dozen songs: raw punk 'n' roll with hints of '70s glam that, from the first listen, transports you back in time to another summer about twenty years earlier, to the dirty, crowded streets of New York, to Johnny Thunders and the NYDolls.

Since their early years, Crooks have devoted themselves almost exclusively to live performances, sharing the stage with acts such as Libertine (USA), Happy Revolvers, and Jackpot (USA), later also with Glucifer (NW) and The Datsuns (NZ), Vice Squad (UK), The Queers (USA) and No Means No (CA), Prima Donna (USA), 999 (UK), Eddie and the Hot Rods (UK), Jim Jones Revue (UK), and recently with GREEN DAY, during their secret show in Milan, which took place during a concert organized by the band and Primadonna at the Ohibo club. Crooks have always observed, learned, and played, constantly searching for a style—THEIR style.

Since 2009, the Crooks have been signed to the German label Billig People Booking, becoming one of their leading bands and regularly playing throughout Europe to great acclaim from audiences and the press. Always wild, unrestrained, and arrogant, the Crooks are now one of Italy's best live bands and among the most respected abroad: their sound goes straight to the heart of rock and roll!
