Alessandria's ASE make their debut on "Professional Punkers," their fourth EP. The band was founded in 2014 by Paolo Merenda (who previously played in several punk hardcore bands, including "Kompagni di Merenda," "Madido Respiro," and "Deep Throat"). MMXVII is a six-track mini-LP (18 minutes) that, compared to its predecessors, aims to demonstrate a more mature approach, incorporating influences ranging from the punk/rock of Social Distortion to the bluesy hard rock of '70s ZZtop. The lyrics are always personal, grounded in spiritual exploration. The whole thing comes in a digipack with a cover by 108, a fellow ASE street artist who has now achieved international fame.
